2018 World Sporting Event Calendar

• The XXIII Olympic Winter Games.
  PyeongChang 2018 will host the XXIII Olympic Winter Games, 9-25 Feb.
  The Olympic Winter Games is a major international sporting event held once every four years, for sports practiced on snow and ice.
  
• The 21st FIFA World Cup.
  The tournament will take place in Russia from 14 June to 15 July 2018.
  Which is a men's football tournament that takes place every four years and is organized by FIFA.
  
• The 2018 Asian Games.
  The tournament will take place in Indonesia from August 18 – September 2, 2018.
  For the first time, the Asian Games are being co-hosted in two cities; the Indonesian capital of Jakarta (which is hosting the Games for the first time since 1962), and Palembang, the capital of South Sumatra province. Events will be held in and around the two cities, including sites in Jakarta's neighbouring provinces of Banten and West Java.The opening and closing ceremonies will be held in Jakarta.
