Wearable flags combine a large printed flag surface with a simple sleeve-based construction, allowing the design to be worn during sports events, celebrations, parades, and promotional activities.

Unlike hooded flag capes, these styles use an unhooded construction with sleeve sections to position the flag around the shoulders and arms. National flag artwork, football club colors, event graphics, promotional logos, pride designs, and private label artwork can all be produced to order.

Custom wearable flags can be produced in several constructions to suit different wearing styles, event programs, and wearer groups.

Sleeveless Wearable Flag

A lightweight sleeveless style with arm-position straps for easy wearing and a broad printed flag surface.

Hooded Sleeveless Wearable Flag

Adds a hood to the sleeveless construction while retaining the lightweight open-arm format.

Tie-On Wearable Flag

Uses a tie-based construction instead of sleeves. Adult and children’s sizes can be produced for supporter and event programs.

Wearable Flag Sizes and Materials

Wearable flag sizes vary by construction. A common adult size is approximately 90 × 150 cm, while other sizes such as 110 × 140 cm can also be produced. A 70 × 90 cm children’s tie-on version has also been made for smaller wearer groups.

The standard fabric is lightweight 68D polyester, which provides a large printable surface while remaining practical for event distribution, packing, and wearing.

Printing and Reverse-Side Appearance

Wearable flags are commonly produced with machine printing or direct digital printing using a single-reverse construction. The printed design penetrates through the lightweight fabric, so the reverse side shows the design in a mirrored orientation.

A lightweight single-layer wearable flag is not intended to provide two independently printed, correct-reading sides. If correct-reading graphics are required on both sides, a different construction needs to be reviewed.

Wearable Flag Finishing

Standard wearable flags use a single-fold sewn hem around the exposed edges. The current construction does not include additional hand attachments, neck fasteners, or separate shoulder reinforcement.

The exact sleeve arrangement and panel construction depend on the selected wearable flag style.
